Brad Michaleski was elected to his first term as MLA for Dauphin on April 19, 2016. He has a strong record of management and leadership, municipal government experience, and community involvement.
Brad grew up on a farm near Dauphin with his parents and three brothers. There he learned the values of hard work and teamwork that continue to guide him today. Following high school, Brad received his Design and Drafting Technician designation from Red River Community College.
After 2 years working in Winnipeg, Brad and his wife Lori returned to Dauphin to farm, start their careers, and raise a family. Primarily a grain and oilseeds producer, Brad has experience with many specialty crops, livestock production and commodity markets. In addition to farming, Brad worked 13 years with Tim-Br-Fab Industries, an engineered wood supplier. Brad worked in design, estimating and sales on construction projects throughout Manitoba before promotion to General Manager.
Brad served 2 terms as municipal councillor for the RM of Dauphin from 2002 to 2010, where he gained insight and experience of both urban and rural issues throughout Manitoba.
Brad and Lori continue to live on the family farm where they raised their two children. He sees tremendous potential in the Dauphin constituency and will work to foster positive regional growth and the investor confidence needed to build a stronger Manitoba. Brad is proud to be part of Manitoba’s new government – one that grows our economy, improves our social services, and delivers a better future for all Manitobans.
